2. Data processed
The website may process technical browsing data, IP address, device information and aggregated usage data. When a visitor sends an enquiry through WhatsApp, email or another external channel, we process the information voluntarily supplied, such as name, contact details, chosen property, stay dates, number of guests and message content.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- responding to enquiries and taking requested pre-contractual steps;
- managing communications and bookings;
- meeting legal obligations;
- protecting the security and operation of the website on the basis of legitimate interests;
- measuring aggregated visits through Google Analytics only after consent.
4. Enquiry form and external channels
The availability form prepares a message that the visitor sends through WhatsApp. The website does not directly store the information entered before it is sent. Opening WhatsApp, email, Airbnb, Booking.com, Instagram or Facebook means using third-party services governed by their own privacy notices.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The website uses necessary technical tools, including local storage of the visitor’s cookie choice. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager are loaded only after acceptance. If consent is refused, analytics tools are not activated. Visitors can change their choice by clearing website data in their browser.
6. Third-party services
The website uses technical resources and links provided by third parties, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Fonts, OpenStreetMap/Leaflet, WhatsApp, Airbnb and Booking.com. These providers may process data under their own terms and, where applicable, transfer it outside the European Economic Area using safeguards required by law.
7. Retention and recipients
Data is kept for as long as necessary to handle an enquiry, a pre-contractual or contractual relationship and legal obligations. Authorised technical providers and professional advisers may process data only within their assigned functions. Personal data is not sold.
8. Data subject rights
Where provided by EU Regulation 2016/679, individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and may withdraw consent without affecting previous processing. Requests may be sent to dcoastsorrento@gmail.com. Individuals may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority.
